About Me

I have a deep passion for history, museums, and telling the stories of those who have been left out of history books. As a historian and filmmaker, I see it as my calling to uncover the lost, preserve what has been forgotten, and return what has been wrongfully stolen.
I earned my BA in History with a concentration in Public History and a minor in Digital Humanities from Messiah University, and I now work full-time as the Archivist at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Alongside my professional role, I founded Ganey Films to continue creating documentary work that bridges archival research, storytelling, and creative media. My most recent project, Finding Washingtonia, began in 2023 during an archaeological expedition in Greece and continues to grow as new layers of this history are uncovered.
My experience spans archival processing, oral histories, video production and editing (Adobe Premiere, Audition, Photoshop), film preservation, guided tours, exhibit curation, research, artifact conservation, front desk and visitor services, blog writing, social media management, networking, and historical reenactment. I am a hands-on learner with a strong work ethic, always striving to find nontraditional and creative ways to connect people to history.
